I have dry skin and as I mature, retaining moisture is an issue so I assumed these weren’t for me. I have normal/dry skin and use a heavy moisturizer in the morning which used to mean using all-over face powder to matte down my complexion before putting on my makeup or else my makeup would slide around and look streaky. I noticed in pictures that the heavy powdering covers up my skin and actually makes me look older… Then my friend told me about these papers being a beauty staple in Japan so I tried them and sure enough, I can skip the whole powder routine now and my makeup looks great all day.
