OMG! Words cannot express how much I LOVE this exfoliant! I've used scrubbies, harsh beads and plain washcloth in the past to get ride of flakiness and just to maintain a glowing complexion. Not anymore! This is so gentle and effective that I'm tossing all the other exfoliants away! For reference, I have oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. Recently I started Retin A to battle the breakouts but I'm left with peeling, red, flaky skin. This takes care of that without adding more insult to injury with regular scrubbing. My skin is just glowing and I won't be without it! I started with the sampler set and just upgraded to the full size. That's how much I love it! I alternate between the classic and the gentle formula depending on how much stuff I have on my face and how much I'm peeling. Either way, you can't go wrong! Love Tatcha! I have tried many, many skin care lines. I also worked with a lot of skin care lines ( I am a skin care specialist).
Without hesitation I can say that Tatcha is the best skin care out there!
I have purchased the whole ritual. I love every step of it and literally I can not wait to wash my face.
This line is so gentle yet so effective. It beautifully evens out skin tone, hydrates and deminishes pore size. No matter what skin type you have Tatcha will make it beautiful and silky. If your skin is congested oily, you have pigmentation that you would like to lighten or your skin is very dry and it needs deep hydration this line will do magic!
I hope Tatcha will never change formula or discontinue any of the products.

My 2 favorite products of Tatcha are their Camellia Cleansing Oil and their Rice Enzyme Powders. If I absolutely had to choose between the 2, though, I would probably have to go with the Rice Enzyme Powders, as it's a 2-in-1 exfoliant-plus-cleanser - and I need all the exfoliation I can get!

Being oily-skinned, the Deep Rice Enzyme Powder is my favorite of the 3 choices of rice enzyme powders (Deep, Classic, Gentle), but on days when I'm not looking for a deep clean yet still want a bit of exfoliation, I reach for the Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. It's never going to be as moisturizing a cleanser as the Camellia Cleansing Oil, but it is certainly on par with the gentlest non-oil cleansers on the market.

Additionally, while the Classic Rice Enzyme Powder is recommended for people with normal or combination skin, my mother uses it with no issues whatsoever (not to mention excellent results to boot), even though she has older, dry skin. Indeed, all 3 "potencies" of Rice Enzyme Powders are incredibly well-formulated. If you can only choose one Tatcha product, you can't go wrong with their Rice Enzyme Powders!

Acne is my old arch nemesis. I've been dealing with it for 28 yrs (I'm now 40). I've used Differin, took Tetracycline, benzoyl peroxide, washes, etc..which has resulted in very sensitive, oily skin. I've heard of rice being good for skin and I was extremely intrigued with this product. After two weeks of using the enzyme powder...my skin feels like a baby's butt. This with the combination of the brightening serum...my skin looks and feels radiant! I love that Tatcha's products contain all the ingredients good for skin and leaves out all stuff that isn't! I have always had super acne prone skin. After doing some reading on Tatcha I decided to give it a try. I love it! Not only does your order ship really really fast, I have gotten the nicest hand written notes and some samples with all my purchases!

I have been searching for a skincare line that is simple and provides powerful, fast results and have finally found it with Tatcha. This little powder enzyme is sublime on my skin. I put a little delicate powder on my wet hands and it turns into a soft cream that goes on gently. It quickly tranforms my skin into a smooth canvas. My skin is soft and supple never dry.

I have suffered from problematic skin for at least 10 years. Finally at the age of 25, things have changed! I read about Tatcha on a blog and decided to give it a try. Joking with people, I said "I am going to have skin like a Geisha".... little did I know, I actually would. My skin has never looked better - more even, soft, and generally healthy! I know the title is a bit dramatic but let me explain. My skin is very sensitive. I can use a very mild cleaner and very plain (didn't work well) moisturizer. I never even thought exfoliation was something I could user. UNTIL NOW! Although I now use the oil cleaner and moisturizer in this range I noticed that with this powder my skin glowed! My moisturizer just sunk into my skin, even my makeup looked better (if I wanted to wear any). At first I thought the price was a little steep but after trying it I don't mind at all.

The classic rice enzyme powder is amazing!! I generally have sensitive skin but I never had an issue with this - it's so gentle. It leaves your skin feeling so smooth and moisturizer. All other scrubs that I've tried leaves my skin feeling dry and tight. This is completely worth every penny and I highly recommend it!!

I do not particularly like using abrasive-type exfoliants as I am not fond of rubbing sandpaper or granules on my skin. However, this is gentle yet potent enough for effective exfoliation. Definitely has helped with the clarity and appearance of my skin. This definitely preps your skin up for layering on the rest of the Tatcha skincare line. If I had to pick one product from the line, THIS would be it.

I started having problematic skin once I moved to SoCal and started my new job (must be the stress and dry air?!). It was like my skin just refused to exfoliate or renew itself and I started developing little bumps under my skin - oil clots, according to my facial therapist in Asia (whom I obviously am unable to see regularly for treatment). I tried using AHAs, BHAs, fruit acids, "natural" and "organic" scrubs as well as the Clarisonic. Nothing worked, what I inherited at the end of endless exfoliation trials was dehydrated, peeling skin AND the oil clots were still there! I stumbled upon Tatcha about 2 months ago and started with the sampler set. Like all the reviewers here, I was stunned by the Enzyme Powder! I was wary about using it everyday, so I used it alternate nights after removing my makeup - what a difference it makes! My clots started to disappear and my skin was soft and smooth. A few weeks ago, I had to make a long trip overseas and in that time, I didn't bring along my Enzyme Powder (BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER). Needless to say, I returned home with a forehead full of oil clots, dehydrated peeling skin and it made me so upset. I started using Tatcha's Enzyme Powder again about a week ago, with the sampler set moisturizer, brightening serum and cleansing oil. Vicky will be so proud to know that my skin is once again transforming to its optimal look and feel. Hopefully in a few months, I, too, will have geisha-worthy skin!

I am totally blown away by this product. I've used the Clarisonic for years, and never achieved the same smoothness and radiance in my skin as I have after a week of using the Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. I use morning and night, leaving on my skin for about 30 seconds each time, and follow with the Tatcha Brightening Serum, and have seen a drastic reduction in dark spots and acne scars. Growing up, I always liked enzyme base face wash. Only the problem was that it was not very easy to find a good product. Naturally, I got really excited when I first heard of this powder. The result was beyond my expectations. Now I use it in the morning and at night. This powder does not leave my skin dry. I love the silky foam and it became one of my favorite ritual now that I can not live without! Also the size of this powder is very generous it easily lasting into 3 months now.

my boyfriend recently purchased the TATCHA sampler set, but since he has sensitive skin, he only used the gentle powder, and let me give the classic and deep powders a try. i had only been using basic face cleansers before and was amazed at how the powder instantly transformed into an incredibly smooth foam that felt like absolute luxury on my face...i was instantly hooked, and can't stop using the classic powder now, especially with all of the attention and compliments that i am getting from my smooth and blemish-free face - i love it!!
