Our name, Tatcha, derives from a Japanese word referring to the beauty of a single standing flower. While I love to see a gorgeous tree lit up and lovingly decorated, many homes (including small San Francisco apartments) simply don’t have the space for them.

In our Tatcha headquarters this year, we decided to try something different. Instead of setting up a tree, we displayed single pine branches around the office. The branches make the whole room festive and fragrant, and are an homage to the simplicity celebrated in our name.

Alea helped me to gather pine branches from around our house, but many nurseries will have extra this season. What are some of your favorite holiday decorations?
