THE SCIENCE OF THE SONG OF INDIGO
To bring you the benefits of nature’s symphony, we partnered with the arts organization Data Garden and music agency Syn World to create calming music from the indigo plant. In July 2021, Syn World visited an indigo farm in Tokushima to translate the indigo plant’s electrical variations into pitches using Data Garden’s PlantWave technology. When producing the song, Syn World incorporated sounds of the plant’s environment including a babbling brook and bird song, plus calming elements such as a slower tempo, mellow timbre, and smaller amplitude, to help you destress.
