How To Use

Suggested Usage

After cleansing, apply a few drops of the Gold Camellia Beauty Oil as needed on the face, neck, body and hair for instant nourishment and radiance. It can be used any time day or night.

Makeup Tips and Tricks
  1. Add 2-3 drops of the Beauty Oil to a beauty blender and press:
    • onto the high points of the face to add instant radiance and highlight.
    • under the eye to smooth concealer caking and creasing, while adding instant luminosity.
    • over your foundation to blend, smooth, or just add a glow.
  2. Use a few drops of Beauty Oil post self tanner application to smooth uneven lines and prevent streaking.
  3. Place a drop of Beauty Oil on your ring finger and lightly dab onto eyelid for a glossy effect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YEESSS!!! I bought the travel size at first, to test it out because $100 seemed fairly steep for a beauty oil. Well, I was about half way through that when Tatcha had a sale and added the full size oil with the gold spun lip balm. This oil has changed my life. The oil isn't really oily. It feels more creamy once its rubbed into the skin. You get immediate results. Dry spots immediately soften once you rub the oil in. It works as a great primer, or if you want to make your makeup more dewy. I absolutely love this oil. Hopefully tatcha will have another deal, so I can cringe less when buying the oil. It's definitely worth the price tag, but doesn't mean I don't cringe when I go to buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Beauty Oil! I was nervous to try this product based on one of the reviews that said the oil did not absorb well. I am so glad I didn't let that stop me. This oil smells divine but it's so light I don't notice the smell long. I use it in my hair after washing and combing. It does not make my hair oily or greasy, which is important because I have thin naturally blond hair with an oily scalp. I have also used this on my skin and it absorbs so quickly. The oil moisturizes and conditions my dry skin for days. If it was a little more cost effective, I would bathe in it every day to moisturize stretched, pregnant skin.

I was hesitant about using the oil since I tend to have oily skin and large pores but since I was so happy about the other products I tried, I figured it was worth it so I purchased the travel size. I apply it every night after the cleansing oil and rice powder and my skin is actually more balanced throughout the day and my pores have improved. I've tried other oils in the past including argan oil and it just never worked for me, but this is completely different. I never plan to be without this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Special Oil That Has Become A Staple! Love! Love! Love! This oil. Can't say enough and I don't even know exactly what I can say about it except it's wonderful. Magic in a bottle. The gold flecks just make it that much better. The oil has a soft floral scent that shouldn't irritate anyone and it melts into your skin so fast, leaving your skin feeling soooo soft. I was amazed at how soft my face felt after using this product. Also I love adding a drop to any liquid foundation (application is easier and a lot smoother). I'm happy Tatcha offers this oil in a travel size so the cost is more manageable. Love it!

I was a little nervous about trying a beauty oil, but I've had such good luck with other Tatcha products, I purchased. I ordered this through QVC and I am SO glad I did! I will definitely purchase this again. When I opened the gorgeous packaging and saw the beautiful gold flakes floating around, I knew I was in for a major treat. I love how this just makes my skin glow and feel so soft and amazing. It is so light and luxurious. Plus, it smells incredible! I am very price conscious but I am also very value conscious. After reading the description,I decided to purchase the product because I already use the Hydrating and Firming Serum and love it. This oil and the serum have given my mature skin a new luminosity and more youthful appearance. I also have used it on my hair and it is neither greasy, nor heavy. You don't need much, so it should be long lasting and worth the price.

I have to admit, that the first time I used it I used WAY too much (only like 3 drops) on my face and it did make my face look oily. DUH! So I decided to try it out a few times only using 1-2 tiny drops. For me it still did the same thing. So I read how to use it again and it says for hair! So I thought SURE! And now I absolutely love it. I run it through my hair (3 drops) after I shower and on the ends because I have long hair and it probably needs a trim but it has TOTALLY helps my dry split ends! I love it! I have the travel size and it will last forever. I’m glad that I am figuring out the perfect individual uses that cater to my needs. Tatcha has inspired me to have a ritual and I’m forever grateful. Four stars ONLY because I think it might be a little too heavy for the face, but other than that it’s still a beautiful and useful beauty must have.

Camellia is a flower that is widely used in a lot of prestigious skincare or personal care products in Japan. It has powerful anti-oxidants that are known for anti-aging and skin restoration properties. The Tatcha Camellia oil is so easy to absorb and I use it nightly. I especially love the travel size bottle that I can carry easily during my long haul flights.

The Camellia Beauty Oil is suitable for all skin types and is formulated with Licorice Extract that will help reduce inflammation, but is not an acne treatment such as the Sunday Riley UFO.

Is there an expiration date for this product?

Thank you for your question! Most of our skin care items, the Camellia Beauty Oil included, have a shelf life of 2-3 years unopened. You don't need to refrigerate them, just keep them in a cool dark place. (Heat and light are skincare's enemy) Once opened, all of our items are good for 6-8 months. Our items are made in small batches and immediately shipped to us for distribution ensuring they are fresh when you receive them. The only two products with expiration dates are our Pore Perfecting Sunscreen SPF 35 and The Indigo Cream. We hope this helps!

I have very oily skin, is this okay for me to use?

This makes it ideal for all skin types including oily. Applying this will help calm oil production leading to a more balanced complexion. It is also clinically and dermatologist tested to be non-comedogenic. We suggest applying 2-3 drops at night over your moisturizer by pressing it into the skin.
