Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best for my combination skin I have been like goldilocks looking for a moisturizer. This one is too heavy, this one is too fragranced, this one makes me breakout. Then I ordered this moisturizer and fell in love. I usually have to stop using a moisturizer after a week or so because my skin gets irritations or pimples, but not with this silky cream. It feels so light on and after 15 seconds it is absorbed into my skin. I love that it feels hydrating without leaving any kind of sticky feeling behind. I've noticed my skin is more consistently glowing, and my pores look smaller. Also, the tone of my skin looks more healthy. I will definitely continue to buy this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! I called in to Tatcha's amazing customer service, and a girl (so sweet, but I forget her name) recommended this cream for my combination skin. I feel like whenever I try to use a moisturizer on a daily basis I just end up getting little bumps through my T-zone and I have to set it aside while I try to get rid of them. Not so with this one! It feels so light and silky on my skin and sinks in right away. I can even wear it under my foundation which I only put on for special occasions. It is a bit expensive for me, but we all have to decide what to spend our hard earned money on, and for me it will be this product!!

I've been using the previous Silk Cream since 2015 and it was incredible, I have to admit the new cream made me spectacle a bit but as a true skincare fan of Tatcha I tried and not only the same but the texture has improved and even better than the previous one. I do admit when a company change packaging you always thinks something gotta go or give, but I gotta tell ya the benefits and consistency stays and it's even better. Just touching it feels richer and more luxurious and putting on your skin feels even better. Could not recommend this cream more!!!!

I have combination skin and finding the right moisturizer has always been like the Three Little Bears - they are either too rich or not moisturizing enough. This just gives me the perfect amount of moisture for my skin and leaves it looking bright, plump and soft. My skin has never looked better and people ask me all the time what I use on my skin ever since I started using this cream, even my aesthetician. My skin is also really balanced now rather than having extremes of oiliness and dryness like I used to get.

I've tried countless drugstore and high end moisturizers to bring life back into my skin. Nothing worked, and after trying the Discovery Kit, I was blown away by the instant results. From reapplying many times a day to a usual morning and night, it was amazing to me. I had to get the full size and it has worked wonders keeping my skin lively. I tried to use other moisturizers but nothing gets the job done at keeping my skin soft and prepped. On my second one, and my combo/sensitive skin thanks me. Truly a life keeper!

I've got to say I never felt like I'd be raving about a moisturizer in my entire life. The texture is just beautiful and it goes on the skin so nicely. The smell is nice too. It reminds me of the scent of the Japanese drink "Calpis". My skin is super oily so anything I put on it that it does not like will make me feel like I have a thick layer on my skin. This moisturizer does not do that. Although it has a tacky feeling after application, I do not feel it sitting on my skin. I love it!

my forehead, nose, and upper lip area get oily but the rest is pretty normal. can this moisturizer work for me?

Thank you for your question! For skin that falls into the Normal to Oily range, we would recommend The Water Cream to balance skin. However, if you like something slightly richer at night, The Silk Cream would be an excellent option. We hope this helps!

Would this product be appropriate for a teen with combination skin?

I bought the sample pack and now want to buy each in the larger size. It says the sample pack lasts about 2 weeks - how long do the larger sizes usually last - I know it will vary for each person, but a rough estimate would be helpful to know.
