Great cleansing and polishing cloth

"I love this cloth! It's not a thin smooth silk like a neck scarf but it's not super rough and scratchy either. It's just the right texture to gently exfoliate delicate skin and just the right size to comfortably wrap around your fingers and hold in your hand. I use it with the camellia cleansing oil, then follow up with rice wash, texture tonic, and water cream. My skin feels so hydrated and soft!"

Nice feeling to it

"The product feels great! I haven’t used it yet."

extra silk face cloth, rosacea friendly item

"I have rosacea sensitive skin, I thought it would going the extra mile to dry my skin on silk towel, versus a regular towel. This hasn't irritated my rosacea, it is a nice drying towel and easy to wash, and I let air dry. It is an ""extra' item."

Not what I expected. Too small

Post surgery game changer

"I purchased these before having neck surgery. I knew my mobility and abilities would be severely limited for an extended amount of time and wanted to do whatever I could to make each day easier for myself. These were a game changer. I often used them without cleanser since I wasn't wearing makeup most days. My face felt clean, and refreshed and never dry or oily. Highly recommend! Now I use them a few times a week because I love the clean feeling they give."

Perfect Cloth!

"This cloth is unlike another! I learned that you need to use a light touch . At first I was rubbing too hard & felt like my skin was getting too sensitive. Now I know how to use it, & I like how fast it dries!"

Use Tatcha cloth with Tatcha cleanser

"I use the face cloth with the Tatcha cleanser. The cleanser is the best facial cleanser I’ve ever used, and having the silky cloth makes washing my face a pleasure."

ADRIENNE F. (5/5)

Used one weekly & had her for 5years! HOW TO BELOW

"First and foremost this is the key to my skincare routine!! Even without my beloved Tatcha products I use this no matter what! It’s the best! I think there is some confusion on how to properly use this polishing sheet! I usually use it in the shower towards the end or after double cleansing. To allow the water/steam to soften the skins surface, you have to use it on wet HYDRATED SKIN. I wrap the sheet around my fingers/round surface and go in VERY VERY light SMALL circles around my face! At first the towel will feel like it isn’t doing anything. maybe, it will feel almost slimy or silky. I rinse it of and continue the circular motions around my face, focusing on the dry parts of my face. After about a minute or so these little balls will start rolling around my face! I continue the motions, sometimes stopping to either rinse my face or the sheet because they are all over. I know I’m done when there’s no more rollies. It’s about 5 minutes once a week. My skin always glows after! This towel beats any “resurfacing, exfoliating, renewing, brightening” product I have EVER used. The keys to remember is never use it aggressively, always have a wet face , use minimal soap and take your time. If your to rough it will take off the surface layer of your skin and burn. To much soap or your face/towel being to dry doesn’t allow for the polishing fibers to remove your dead skin. Lastly put on the best moisturizer you have. Tatcha is king but we do what we can! Any highly acidic or chemically skincare after polishing your face will burn the spots you were rough on. Hope this helps!"

"This cloth does a great job of exfoliating my face. It is not to rough. A good balance for even cleansing. Try it!"

Q&A

Can this cloth be used with the Indigo Cleansing Balm, or is it only recommended to use with the Camellia oil wash?
This cloth can be used with any cleanser in our collection.
Can this be used alone? And can it be used with the indigo cleansing balm? Does it replace the (cleanser step) ?? Acts as a cleanser on its own whether used alone or with the balm, to remove daily buildup ???
We are unable to see the item you are referencing. Please email customercare@tatcha.com so we can better assist you.
If you use the polishing cloth to wipe clean face and wipe off excess camellia oil do you have to follow with polishing powder before essence application or can you skip the powder?
It is optional to use The Rice Polish after using a cleansing cloth. The cleansing cloth will naturally provide exfoliating benefits.
Are the cloths individually wrapped/packaged when purchasing the 5 pack
Each Kinu Silk Cloth is individually wrapped
Do you suggest using the polished face cloth, once or twice a day?
The Kinu Silk Cloth can be used anytime when you are performing your cleansing ritual

The Best Lightweight Sunscreen for Your Face

Sunscreen used to be considered thick, pore-clogging, and opaque white — but today’s iterations are impressively different. Modern sunscreen is lightweight, nearly invisible, and can actually improve the look and feel of skin. A lightweight feel is not only sensorially important, but it also helps to make the experience of wearing it more enjoyable, while encouraging you to use it daily. It’s a pleasure to use, rather than a chore.

Oily vs. Glowy Skin: How to Tell The Difference (And Get the Glow)

While oily skin and glowy skin can seem similar, they are distinctively different. Oily skin is from an overproduction of sebum from the sebaceous glands, while glowing skin gives off a natural radiance from a balanced, hydrated, and healthy skin barrier. There’s nothing wrong with oily skin, and, with a few specific products, you can take excessive oiliness and transform it into glowing, dewy skin. Utilize balancing cleansers, lightweight moisturizers, and oil-absorbing primers to help look more glowy than oily.

4 Transformative Benefits of Using the Best Face Essence

An ancient staple in Japan, essences are finally gaining popularity in the US. An essence is a watery liquid infused with skin-benefiting active ingredients that can hydrate, brighten, firm, and more. An essence is pressed into the skin after cleansing and before serums and moisturizers, and is designed for daily use. Some of the best essences for the face have dramatic benefits, including hydrating, plumping, reducing the appearance of wrinkles (as effectively as a retinol), and making the rest of your skincare products work better.
