"The Liquid Silk Canvas creates a wonderful primer for makeup but I'm using it as my foundation as it smoothes over my aged skin - wrinkles & pores - without the heaviness of foundation. I do attribute the good condition of my skin to Tatcha products, but still want cosmetics for daytime. I can add tiny amounts of concealer to areas that require more, but the lightly applied Canvas takes care of my overall appearance. As other reviewers mention, apply a very thin layer to avoid pilling and it will also make the bottle last a very long time!"

There is no "straw" attached to the base of the pump on the Liquid Silk Canvas primer (mini size) I purchased. Did I receive a defective product, or is this the intended design?: The mini-size Liquid Silk Canvas uses an airless pump, so a hose is not attached to the nozzle.
