"Initially, did not feel like it was doing much, but after finishing a mini tub (3 months daily usage) I could feel my undereye being smooth as a baby's butt! Does not help with deep-set lines but any fine lines which are *just* starting to set in have all but disappeared. The only reason why I deducted 1 star is because the balm texture is rather difficult to get out the tub: you either get too little or too much, and it feels rather unhygienic to have my hand go in the tub so many times each night to "adjust" the quantity. This would be great in a squeezable tube (but then you would not be able to see how much you have left)."

"I use other Tatcha skincare and wanted to try the Peony eye cream. First few days I noticed a difference and was working out well for me. But after one week I noticed my left under eye had many visible wrinkles and dry I also noticed that only on that side I started to get a bag and puffy. Discontinued use and it's taken more than a few days but my eye is slowly getting back to normal. I don't know what specific ingredient caused this flare up. I'm disappointed that I couldn't continue to use it."

"I’m only giving this 4 stars because the eye cream is really thick and if you have long nails it gets stuck under them and hard to apply. I do really like this cream and a little bit goes a very long way. Maybe add a little spatula for this to help apply??or I guess if you have one use it for this. - I recently received the Silk Peony Eye Cream in a starter ritual set, but I’m concerned about its texture. When I first opened it, the cream was extremely hard—almost solid—and difficult to apply. I’ve tried warming it between my fingers, but it remains clumpy and sits on top of my skin rather than absorbing. I have to rub quite aggressively for it to even slightly melt, which isn’t ideal for the delicate eye area. Even then, it leaves a waxy layer that flakes off throughout the day. I’ve noticed similar concerns in some reviews, yet when I tested a sample at Sephora, the texture was completely different—much softer and more emollient. Has my product gone bad, or is this a known issue with certain batches? I really want to love this eye cream and avoid searching for an alternative, but as it stands, it’s unusable. I’d appreciate any insight or guidance you can provide!
